Here's a classic Canon nFD 70-210mm f4 zoom lens with a case.

The lens is in lovely cosmetic shape - no dings, scratches or even paint wear that I can see. Lens has not been film tested, but aperture and focus seem fine. 

Front and back elements are clean and scratch free. Light dust is visible inside the lens when a flashlight shines through from behind. You can also see a thin, hair-like curl on an inner element that might be a trace of fungus -- see photo. That might have an effect on images in terms of reducing contrast, especially if you're shooting directly into a light source. Or it might not! I've gotten great images with lenses in worse condition than this, but again, I haven't tested this lens with film.
